Hmm, ok, that is a good interpretation actually. I can definitely see it. The husband/wife language gives me a knee-jerk reaction of massive uncomfortableness (yeah that is def a word), but putting that aside, I like this reading! It makes a lot of sense.

I agree with both of you, basically! I am still super-uncomfortable with some aspects of Oscar and André’s relationship, though if I look at it analytically I get where they’re trying to go with it — all the intersections of different ways that they’re not equal and the effect it has and how hard it is to overcome all of that. In the end though my visceral reaction to episode 28 kind of tends to overrule analysis here, I think. BUT it is still super-interesting. BUT one has been through some not entirely dissimilar things and therefore has… problems with it anyway.

ALSO THANKS your journey through RoV has given us some great discussions and also loads of glee over the fact that you get it. :D

Not saying that I’m completely comfortable. I’m certainly not ok with episode 28. ;;;;

I’m not really a RoV shipper anyway. I like all possible combinations, really. I don’t like Fersen though. And I think it’d take some serious convincing for Oscar to get that she can sleep with lady-folk if that’s what she wants.

Also, extra love for Alain/André/Oscar. IDEK.

Ooops. Drifted off topic. ;;;

Pfft off topic my arse. :D

Being Swedish kind of predisposes one to hate Fersen anyway though. BLOODY IDIOT SWEDISH NOBLES, hah.
